切断加工の刃物特にパンチ刃先に加工力が集中してしまうと刃先が急激に摩耗してしまったり、加工される材料を変形させてしまうことがあります。同じ加工をするなら少しでも刃先の一点に掛かる力は少ない方が型の寿命は長くなります。
これは刃先に掛かる力を分散して
○　型寿命を延ばす
○　材料の変形を避ける
○　ダイの破損を防ぐ
この様な方法についての説明資料です。
If the processing force is concentrated on the edge of the cutting tool, especially the punch edge, it may cause rapid wear of the cutting edge and deformation of the processed material.
If the same processing is to be done, the life of the die will be longer if the force applied to a single point on the cutting edge is as little as possible.
